About Our RV Service

Your RV Technician


I am a lifelong camper. It started as a child in a pop up Cox tent trailer. I went to a technical high school for electronics and later started for my electronic engineering degree. Giving me a solid background for reading schematics and trouble shooting appliances, CAN B systems and the evolving electronics found in modern RV's. I then found myself volunteering on a rescue squad out of my desire to help people.

This lead me to become a Paramedic serving people in their communities for 41yrs.

I also had a love for a different recreational vehicle. Motorcycles blended with my love for outdoors . From camping by Motorcycles on such trips as one that included 32 states and Mexico and Canada, as well as to Alaska and back. This hobby included restoring multiple vintage motorcycles. This expanding my skills to mechanical and restoration.

These three paths have now come together—my desire to serve others and my combined experience in electrical, electronics, and mechanical work—to create Mobile RV Repair Medic LLC.

Where can you provide mobile RV service? +
We come to your location—home, campground, or even on the road—to perform repairs and maintenance efficiently.
What repairs can be done on-site? +
We can handle diagnostics, electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, appliances and more—without you leaving your location.
Do I need to schedule in advance? +
Routine maintenance should be booked in advance, and we generally advise all work be scheduled. Call for information, we may be able to help you sooner.
How do I book a service? +

Are your technicians certified? +
Yes! I am certified, experienced, and equipped to handle a wide variety of repairs safely and efficiently with honest answers. I am certified by RVTI the industry and OEMs standard.
How much do you charge? +
Our shop rate is $170/Hr for one certified RV Tech. On site fee is $3.00/ mile with a $50 minimum.

Please see below - you are NOT charged $170 per hour, it is based on the task not the time.
What does the On site fee consist of? +
We charge an On-site service fee for our trip to you. The rate is $3.00 per mile The minimum on-site trip fee is $50. We only charge for the trip to you not the return trip. The farther we have to travel, the more the cost will be.

Each service call is charged a $50 on-site trip fee even if we are already in the same RV park or area.

Am I charged $170/Hr from the time you arrive and leave? +
NO!
The shop rate starts once we arrive at your location and the work begins. The shop rate is $170 per hour for one (1) RVTI Certified RV Service Tech.

Do not confuse the "shop rate" with an "hourly rate" – they are not the same thing. We charge a standard flat-rate per task based upon an industry standard guidebook and not by time spent on the task. This is the same method a mechanic shop or RV repair shop would use to charge you.
